Heavy Duty Packing: Securing Your Belongings with Carlin Brown Removals

Like any professional removals service, Carlin Brown Removals knows the importance of safely packing and securing your belongings as you move house. Heavy-duty packing is essential when transporting large, heavy items or a large number of items that need to be secured. Here, we share some of our top tips for heavy-duty packing.

Packing Materials

We recommend investing in quality packing supplies to ensure your belongings are securely packed for the move. Heavy-duty packing materials include: double wall cardboard boxes, bubble wrap, packing tape, bubble wrap and stretch wrap.

Be sure to add extra cushioning materials like bubble wrap to boxes containing fragile items, and reinforce boxes with packing tape. You should also invest in a box trolley to move boxes more easily.

Labelling

Labelling boxes can help ensure your belongings arrive safely and intact at your new home. Clearly label each box on the top and sides with the contents and the room they should be placed in when they arrive. Be sure to label any boxes containing fragile items as Fragile.

Securing

Once all items have been packed, they should be securely wrapped and sealed before being loaded into the van. Tightly wrap furniture in blankets and secured with bungee cords or rope. This will help keep the items secure during the move.

At Carlin Brown Removals, we understand the importance of heavy-duty packing and use the highest quality materials to securely pack your belongings. With our expert assistance, your belongings will arrive safely at your new home.
